The agenda for this tutorial is as follows:

   - What is a GIS?
   - What can you do with a GIS?
   - How is a GIS used?

Emerging Spatial Information Systems and Applications
   - Introduction
        Geospatial Web Services
   - Innovative Applications
        ScienceMaps
   - Future Trends and Technologies
        Location Based Services
